We are a family of four who became a family of five on November 9, 2008 when we adopted a 9-year-old girl from Shaanxi province in China. The travel portion of this blog, from November 4 through November 22, 2008 highlights our adventures in China. The following entries are snapshots of our family life now that we're back home.

The theme of this blog, Abigail coming home, has been completed for some time now. Therefore, it's time to close the book on this adventure and call it complete.

After an exhausting flight, we are now in Guangzhou. It's midnight, David is sick, and we are going to bed. More later...

Hang in there, David. It will be only few more days before you are all heading home. Pray for you to feel better soon so you can enjoy Guangzhou. Hope the weather is good there too. Where are you staying in Guangzhou? There is a starbuck on Xiamen Island, not too far from the White Swan Hotel.... Sue
