The last major hurdle was cleared today when we were notified that we had received travel approval to go to China. This is almost exactly one year from when we received Abigail's referral information.

Abigail's 9th birthdayWe will be tentatively leaving on November 7 and returning on November 19. Once we get confirmation of visa appointments, then we will be able to put these dates on the calendar and book flights.

I am sorry, but if I had looked at Abigail's referral picture I would have emailed the agency back telling them they had made a mistake - the little boy was cute, but we wanted a girl. The birthday picture is way more complimentary! So happy for you and the China adventure coming up. And boys, don't let you teacher make you take 2 wks of school work along!!!
